Cassidy’s Corner: Serving those Who Serve Us 9-11
Last Sunday we had the privilege of helping Cassidy’s Corner serve free breakfast as a tribute to our men and women in uniform. Standing alongside our peers to make it all happen was an honor. We had a such a blast with Allison Tutoring, F&M Bank, the Lakewood YMCA, and other community businesses. Cassidy’s Corner also had special guests such as Lakewood’s great mayor Jeff Wood, congress woman Janice Hahn, and President of Greater Lakewood Chamber of Commerce Joshua Castellanos. Although Sunday marked the 15th anniversary of 9-11, the loss and tragedy we faced as a country will always feel like a fresh painful memory. What we stood to learn from it is how strong we are as a country and that it did unite us. We stand together strong and because of the brave men and women that fight for our country are we able to have the true essence of what it means to be a Free Country. Thank you to all the brave men, women, and children who do acts of kindness everyday. Thank you to all of our people who continue to serve our country today for a better tomorrow. And a big thank you to Cassidy’s Corner for making this all possible.
